Beat The Heat With A Free Trip To Willard Beach

The City of Battle Creek is helping residents beat the heat by offering free access to Willard Beach. Our local area and the entire Lower Peninsula are under an excessive heat warning with conditions that could make the outside feel as hot as 110 degrees. That warning lasts through 8 PM on Sunday. While the city of Kalamazoo is responding by opening up fire hydrants, Battle Creek is allowing free access to Willard Beach Park, Saturday and Sunday, from 8 AM to 8:30 PM.
