Let's be clear, cats are still aloof animals that really don't care about you. They do, however, care about getting fed, and if the person who feeds them is in danger, well, a cat has to do what it has to do.
Something called a "mid-latitude cyclone" swept through Michigan over the weekend. Up to ten foot waves were recorded along West Michigan's Lakeshore. Here's video of the big waves on the big lake Sunday afternoon.
