D.N.R. Confusion Leads To Death In Ann Arbor Hospital

Investigators in Ann Arbor say a man passed away, at a VA hospital, after a nurse mistakenly believed he didn’t want to be resuscitated, in case of an emergency. The Associated Press reports that the death took place, late last year, at a hospital in Ann Arbor. The man’s name and age were not disclosed in a released on Tuesday, by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. According to investigators, it isn’t certain whether resuscitation efforts would have been successful.
