Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies say they were serving a subpoena at a business in Battle Creek yesterday when they discovered a marijuana growing operation. The Deputies were inside the business on Capital Avenue Southwest when they say they detected a strong marijuana odor. Deputies got a search warrant and served it at around 3:45 in the afternoon. They say they found forty marijuana plants growing inside the building. Another warrant was served at the owner’s home on M-66 in Barry County.
