Fallen Four Legged Friend Remembered

A border collie in Northern Michigan, recently deceased, is being remembered by fans, family and friends. The Associated Press Reports that a memorial service is being held for Piper, in Traverse City. The speedy border collie became an internet sensation for keeping a northern Michigan airport’s runway, free of geese, ducks and snowy owls, while wearing an airport vest and goggles. Nine year old Piper developed prostate cancer and died, January 3^rd.
