Family of Teleka Patrick says Reports Should Not Impact Search Effort

In the wake of statements from an ex-husband as to possible mental health issues affecting Doctor Teleka Patrick, the woman who disappeared last month after leaving the Borgess Health Center parking lot, her family is again calling for help from the public in finding her.  In a statement, the family says that despite any possible mental illness, her car was still found abandoned next to the highway in Indiana and they say there are legitimate concerns for her safety.  This follows reports from WOOD-TV yesterday that gospel singer Marvin Sapp had filed for a Personal Protection Order against Patrick, alleging that he was being stalked by her.
