Fed’s Take In Record Taxes But…
According to the Treasury Department, the federal government has collected a record amount of taxes in fiscal 2014, topping $3 trillion in revenue for the first time in its history.
Yet we still have a deficit. We spent more than the record amount of taxes brought in, of $483 billion dollars.
You have to ask yourself, "How does that happen?"
Then, ask yourself, "If we took in a record amount of taxes and still are $.5 trillion in the red, how will we ever balance the budget?"
