High School Football Standings: Week 4

As we enter the second-third of the high school football season, several local southwest Michigan teams will have a little work to do to give them a chance at the playoffs. Of 17 11-man teams, only one is undefeated while six teams are above .500 overall. Out of the final two 8-man teams, just one is above .500 and perfect on the year.

The conference seasons are just getting underway, with the Interstate 8 and the Big 8 concluding their second games of the conference schedules. Most of the teams have played at least one game in conference play, while Bronson has yet to play a team in the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph Conference. Two area schools made their debut in the revamped Southwestern Athletic Conference last week.
