The Flint water crisis and a football-sized sinkhole in suburban Detroit are highlighting flaws in aging underground pipes, in the state of Michigan. However, Michigan residents are much more focused on the sorry state of Michigan roads. The Associated Press reports that funds for infrastructure upgrades are unlikely to be approved anytime soon, in spite of Governor Rick Snyder’s warning that “every corner” of Michigan is at risk.
