This Marshall Woman Has The Best Halloween Display In West Michigan
When Holly Harnden and her late husband closed on the Victorian-style home at 401 E Mansion St in Marshall, MI, on Halloween of 2003, it was the manifestation of a woman who had a dream and achieved it.
If you do anything this Halloween season, you have to visit her to hear the story about how she was able to obtain her dream home and transformed it into what it is today, one of the most impressive and creatively designed Halloween houses in the state.

While visiting her, we spent an hour discovering who she was, how she was able to piece this home together for the holidays, and taking in all of the unique Halloween designs she has set up for this season.
What we discovered was a humble, kind, caring, and inspirational woman who loves giving back to the community, and this is her way of doing it, as she also sets up a similar, and as she describes, possibly more elaborate, Christmas decoration display every year as well.

She also told us during her day that she lost her husband tragically eight years ago, and many people thought that with his passing, so would the Halloween display. But every year, Holly continues to prove that she wasn’t just the woman behind the man, as she continues to stun with her displays, as a tribute to herself and the love she and her husband shared.
Holly finances the whole project straight out of her pocket and is as hard-working as any other middle-class woman in today’s day and age.
It’s highly encouraged that if you go anywhere this Halloween season, you visit this home and drop some money in the donation bin outside of her house.
Because the time we spent getting to know her and hearing her amazing story and getting to know the person she is was one of the coolest Halloween experiences I’ve ever had.
BELOW ARE PHOTOS from her display, but you really need to go and see it in person to understand the magnitude of her creative abilities.
