An advocate for juvenile justice is calling for more Supreme Court involvement, following an Associated Press investigation on the sentencing of juvenile offenders. The high court has already banned mandatory life without parole for juveniles convicted of homicide and has ordered states to review those cases, one more time. An AP investigation has found that an inmate’s chance of a review or parole depends largely on where that sentencing took place.
