Luke Skywalker Passes the Force to 10 Year Old Kalamazoo Boy
This story will bring tears to your eyes and make your heart swell with love.
As being reported by WZZM 13 a 10 year old Kalamazoo boy was granted a great gift from Make-A-Wish Michigan and a Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker himself.
This boy has an extremely life-threatening very rare disease named Microvillus Inclusion Disease. Because of this rare disease his intestines do not work properly, thus all his hydration and nutrition pumped directly into his heart through a port.
It is believed there is only approximately 15 cases of this disease world wide.
The wonderful organization Make-A-Wish Michigan found out about this 10 year old's illness and sent the boy and his entire family on an all-expenses-paid vacation on a Disney Cruise.
Then it gets better.
The actor Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Master, heard about this Kalamazoo boy's illness and his love of the Star Wars movie series so he did the very ill boy a solid.
