Michigan Senator Under FBI Lens
A Michigan lawmaker has voiced concerns, following a run in with FBI investigators. According to the Associated Press, Senator Bert Johnson says he’s “disappointed” the FBI searched his Detroit-area home and Lansing office. The Democrat, from Highland Park has also said that he’s “very concerned” for his family. On Tuesday, Johnson said he’s turning the matter over to lawyers. He has told reporters at the state Capitol that he didn’t know the scope of the investigation; the FBI and state police have declined to say what they’re investigating.
