Governor Snyder is working lawmakers to compensate thousands of Michigan residents who were exonerated of fraudulently collecting unemployment benefits. According to the Associated Press, the proposal was not included in changes to the Unemployment Insurance Agency that won approval the last day of voting in 2017. Legislators plan to revisit the issue in January.
