New Poll Shows Michiganders In Favor Of Recreational Marijuana
A new survey shows most Michigan voters would support legalizing recreational use of marijuana. Lansing-based EPIC-MRA has found that 53 percent would vote “yes” on a ballot proposal to legalize and tax the drug. Forty five percent were opposed and two percent were undecided. EPIC-MRA spokesman Bernie Porn says if the proposal makes its way to the November ballot, support could be several points higher because presidential elections have higher voter turnout.
