New R&D Facility Opened in Kalamazoo

Governor Snyder joined other government and business leaders in Kalamazoo yesterday to mark the opening of a new Newell Rubbermaid design center.  The company chose Kalamazoo for its new research and development facility, thanks in part to over $2 million dollars in tax abatements from the state and city.  The new facility is expected to employ up to one hundred people.
