Oil Continues To Flow Through Great Lakes Waterway
Governor Rick Snyder has cited the need for propane, for winter heating, in his refusal to halt the flow of crude oil through pipelines in a Great Lakes waterway. Snyder says the twin pipelines were inspected for gaps in exterior coating, and said there was no imminent threat of a spill. At the same time, according to the Associated Press, Snyder also turned down two other proposals from critics of Enbridge’s Line 5.
