Pennfield voters said no once again to a school bond proposal. The measure lost by 35 votes, 855 to 820.  The 0.60 mill tax would have paid for an $8.6 million bond issue to renovate Dunlap Elementary, make improvements at Pennfield Middle School, and upgrade the athletic complex and parking lots.  Money also would have also covered upgrades at North Penn and Purdy elementary schools, and the conversion of First Wesleyan North Church into a preschool center.  But again, Pennfield voters have said no, by a margin of 35 votes.
