In case you missed Austin Hatch speaking at the Battle Creek Community Prayer Breakfast last month, you'll get another chance to hear his inspiring story next Monday. at the Stone Theater in the lower level of the Kalamazoo Radisson Plaza Hotel.

Hatch will be the featured guest speaker at Big Brothers Big Sisters 42nd Annual Benefit Dinner on Monday, June 10.   Hatch is a two-time plane crash survivor, former member of the University of Michigan men’s basketball team, and inspirational speaker. He will share his story of overcoming great odds to fulfill his dream of playing Big 10 basketball and help inspire others towards continuous improvement.

The funds generated at the Benefit Dinner account for more 40 percent of the agency’s annual revenue.

Past Benefit Dinner speakers include Tim Lester, John Beilein, Tom Izzo, Jim Schwartz, Greg Jennings, Lindsay Tarpley, Mark Dantonio, Sparky Anderson, Kirk Gibson, and Bo Schembechler.

Registration is 5:15 to 6:30PM, with cocktails & Hhrs d’oeuvres and dinner to follow, with a silent auction, awards ceremony and raffle also on tap.

Tickets are $300 per person and available on the Big Brothers/Big Sisters website.
