Police Investigate Sexual Assault

Police in Battle Creek are searching for a suspect in a sexual assault.

The assault occurred back in mid-august in a backyard in the area of Franklin and Calhoun Street.

The victim described the attacker as a black male in his early 30’s, standing around 6’2” with an average build, with pock marks on his cheeks, wearing a dirty white t-shirt, dark blue jeans and black work boots.

Police have released a sketch based on the description.
