Okay, so maybe the photo is a little overoptimistic, but southern Michigan is still in line for some warm weather this weekend.

In fact, looking back in the WBCK weather archives, it is clear we have a shot at matching, if not breaking some record high temperatures. Here's how it looks:

Saturday, February 18, 2017

Record High:  58 degrees, set in 1961

Forecast High:  56 degrees

Sunday, February 19, 2017

Record High:  60 degrees, set in 1994

Forecast High:  54 degrees

Monday, February 20, 2017

Record High:  60 degrees, set in 1930

Forecast High: 58 degrees

With plenty of sunshine in the forecast Friday through Monday, perhaps we have a chance to push those numbers up a little - and even break some records! In fact, the National Weather Service thinks southwest Michigan will see daytime high temperatures in the 50's through Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
