Prison Inmate, Published Author

A forty nine year old inmate, at Lakeland Correctional in Coldwater is raising questions as to whether or not a prisoner should profit from tragedy. According to The Detroit News, Curt Dawkins is serving time for the fatal shooting of Tom Bowman of Kalamazoo, while he was on drugs in 2004. Dawkins is serving life without parole and while in prison, wrote a collection of short stories about prison life, which was published in July.
