Members of Old Newsboys’ Goodfellow Fund of Detroit begin their annual campaign, this week, to raise money toward holiday gifts for children. The Associated Press reports that sales start at 6 AM, Monday. Detroit authorities, including police officers and firefighters will take to the streets, selling “Goodfellow editions” of the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press. The group has planned 34,000 gift packages in an effort tto raise $1.1 million.
