An ex-juvenile offender, previously sentenced to life behind bars, was met with another surprise, upon his release. According to the Associated Press, Bobby Hines was recently released on parole, after serving 28 years, to discover support from the sister of the man he was convicted of killing. Hines was 15 when he went to prison. He met with Valencia Warren-Gibbs, after his release, this fall. Gibbs reportedly told Hines, “I only want the best for you,” as he works to start over.
