Semi And Passenger Car Collide In Battle Creek

A crash involving a semi in Battle Creek this morning caused significant disruption to traffic on two major roads.

The crash occurred at around 7 at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Helmer Road.  At least one passenger car was damaged in the crash.

Victims were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Shortly before 8am, two cars collided further north on Helmer Road at Dickman.

There were multiple injuries at the second crash scene as well.
