The 2021 National Football League season is now in its preparation stage with the May 12th announcement of the upcoming schedule. Several changes are slated with the approved addition of one more regular season game and the loss of a preseason contest.

It was a surprise to see Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson retire after last season. One of the top receivers in the game. Being one of the best, it was great to recently see the respect given to him by former Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman.
