It’s the annual Krazy for the Kazoo cleanup along the Kalamazoo River winding through Battle Creek.

NCR Corporation is agreeing to a 25 million dollar settlement to help clean up PCB contamination in the river from the Morrow Pond impoundment west of Battle Creek – all the way to Lake Michigan.

Battle Creek’s annual fall cleanup will take place next week for area residents. This cleanup period allows residents to place at the curb, on their regular trash/recycling pickup day, up to 10 cubic yards of construction waste.
