The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says Tuesday that they received a report from a citizen, who complained of a scammer impersonating a Sheriff’s Deputy. The scammer told the victim they had a ticket from a traffic camera.
Battle Creek Police officers responded to the C-Store at the corner of Columbia Ave. and 20th St, where the suspect vehicle was located; at the scene, police found a 31-year-old man and 34-year-old woman, along with stolen property.
