A township in southwestern Michigan may be changing its mind, on allowing medical marijuana businesses. The Associated Press reports that Milton Township, in Cass County could rescind an ordinance issued on Tuesday, after hearing from the prosecutor and sheriff who fear medical marijuana could bring. New Michigan laws are being written that would significantly change how medical marijuana is treated. The state is promising licenses to businesses next year, but only after they receive the blessing of local governments.
