The Tigers continued their winning streak by beating the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 in game two of Friday evening’s game.

The Tigers ripped into action, in the 1st inning, when Jim Adduci homered to left-field putting Detroit on the board 1-0. Baltimore responded in the 2nd and the 3rd scoring off from Justin Verlander, pushing ahead 2-1.

It was in the 8th inning when Justin Upton slammed a homer into left-field, bringing Romine, Iglesias and Adduci home and putting the Tigers ahead of the “Birds” 5-2. Detroit held on to the lead through the 9th and beat the Orioles 5-2.

The two teams face each other again Saturday evening in game three of the four game series. Coverage begins at 6:40 PM on 95.3 WBCK.
