The Detroit Tigers were the victors in a 9th inning 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox, Friday evening.

The game was scoreless until the 3rd inning when Yoan Moncada homered off from Anibal Sanchez making it a 1-0 game. The Tigers got on the board in the 4th when Castellanos singled to left-center, bringing Presley in to score, tying the game.

Detroit crept ahead in the 7th when Collins homered to right field making it 2-1.  Chicago kept up the pace, scoring a run in the 8th and tying the game at 2-2 until the 9th inning.

Shane Greene was the closing pitcher for Detroit and kept the White Sox from scoring in the final inning. The Tigers had two outs in the 9th when Mahtook singled to center, bringing Candelario in to score.

The next broadcast will be Sunday afternoon, at 12:40 PM, when the Tigers face Toronto on 95.3 WBCK.
