Tigers Fall To The Royals In Game 2
The Tigers lost to the Kansas City Royals Wednesday evening, 8-2.
Kansas City was first to score off lefty Daniel Norris in the top of the 3rd inning. The Royals added more runs in the 4th, building a 5-0 lead.
Alex Avila hit a homer in the 4th making it a 5-1 game. Miguel Cabrera added a solo homer in the 6th to make it 5-2.
The Royals added runs in the final two innings off relievers Warwick Saupold and Alex Wilson and win it, 8-2.
Norris took the loss and falls to 4-6. His earned run average has climbed to 5.00.
The Tigers fall to nine games below .500 and are in 4th place, 7 games behind first-place Cleveland. The Tigers host four with Cleveland this weekend.

Starting Tuesday, the Giants come in for three games and then the Tigers finish the first half of the season in Cleveland.
