Check out Elvis! A purebred "teacup" Pomeranian, Elvis is only about six months old - and is ready to leave the building for a new home! He's this week's Wiggly Tail Wednesday spotlight pet from the Humane Society of South Central Michigan in Battle Creek.

Elvis is a very cute, small dog who will do well in a home where he can receive a lot of attention. He loves cats, and can be a great friend to one - and to his new family.

The Humane Society of South Central Michigan does caution, though, that Elvis can be vocal, and his new family should be prepared for that. They do not recommend Elvis for apartment living, since it is possible that he will bark loudly at times.

It is also recommended that HSSCM perform a dog-to-dog match-up with Elvis and a current dog in your home, in order to test their compatibility. Elvis has a sweet and loving disposition, but does display typical characteristics of the breed.
