Battle Creek Bank Robbed

Battle Creek police were called to the Fifth Third Bank, at 630 Capital Avenue S.W., in response to a robbery.

An unknown male entered the bank at 5:21 PM., Friday afternoon, wearing a mask, hoodie and dark pants. He approached the teller and demanded money. The man then fled from the bank, heading east toward Randolph Street and was last seen in the area of Roe Street.

Two separate K-9 tracks were conducted with negative results, however the area was canvassed and did result in finding witnesses.

The Battle Creek Detective Bureau as well as the F.B.I. is now continuing the investigation.
