Battle Creek Man Arrested After Home Invasion

A Battle Creek man is in jail after he allegedly broke into a home in Springfield yesterday afternoon.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home in the first block of North 12^th Street around 2:30pm Sunday, after a homeowner claimed that a man they knew broke in.

The 43-year-old man was found and arrested a short time later, and is lodged at the Calhoun County Jail on a Home Invasion charge.
