Almost 6 ½ years after the death of a Constantine girl, a former reserve police officer has been arrested in connection with the case. Michigan State Police say that 46-year-old Raymond McCann was charged over the weekend with a count of perjury stemming for the investigation into the death of 11-year-old Jodi Parrack. McCann was a reserve officer with the Constantine Police when Parrack was found dead in the Constantine Township cemetery in November of 2007. According to Constantine Police, McCann was suspended and he later resigned after investigators learned that he was a person of interest in the case. The State Police’s cold case team filed for the perjury charge stemming from their investigation. McCann has not been charged with the murder.
