Hunting With Your Smartphone

Michigan hunters are becoming more tech savvy. Hunters and outdoor enthusiasts this year will have access to mobile technology that will help them find the perfect hunting spot with use of a smartphone or tablet. Nick Dohm of the Michigan DNR says that the five year old app, MI-HUNT offers aerial photography; along with street maps and directions to where you want to go. He says game hunters are the biggest users, but Michigan morel mushroom hunters are catching on, along with other outdoor enthusiasts.
