Investigators Ask For Information In Losey Case

An investigation into accusations of extortion made against the now former Director of Calhoun County’s Veterans Affairs office continues.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies have served a search warrant at the home of Scott Losey in Portage.

Losey resigned from his position Monday after a vet’s widow accused him of soliciting her for $200 in exchange for arranging her benefits with the VA.

The Sheriff’s Office is now asking that anyone who was asked to give Losey money or gifts in exchange for his services to contact their investigators at 269-781-0940 or 269-781-0880.
