Middle school and high school students in Michigan may soon be learning CPR. A bill advancing in the Michigan Legislature would require the state Education Department to ensure CPR training, by the 2017-2018 academic years. Grades 7 to 12 would receive the training. With the bill, instruction for CPR would be included in schools, along with training in automatic external defibrillators.
