This is about as big as it gets!  The Rockford High School Band was on a huge stage on Thanksgiving, as they represented West Michigan at the 2017 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

The band looked and sounded great, playing "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and then marching on with the Michigan State Fight Song.  About 50 million people were watching on NBC, with another three million or so on the streets of New York.

According to the band's website, the Rockford High School Bands, under the direction of Brian Phillips, had an award-winning season in 2017. With their show, “TAO”, the 318 member Rockford Marching Band earned several 1st place and Grand Championship titles, along with many captions. They placed first at the MCBA State Finals, along with all 3 captions. They are a regular participant at the Bands of America Grand Nationals and on November 23, 2017, they will be marching in the 91st Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Great job kids!
