As you’re out doing holiday shopping this season, the Battle Creek Police and Fire Departments are asking you to help make the holidays special for area children as well.

Coming up on Friday, December 1, city first responders will be holding their annual Stuff-A-Truck Event, where they hope to fill the BCPD’s SWAT truck with toys, as a part of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program.

The event runs from 4 to 7pm, at the Commerce Point Parking Lot on Divison St, accross the street from the Police Station.

If you can’t make the event next week, you can find Toys for Tots bins at the Police Station, at City Hall, and at locations throughout Battle Creek. They ask that donations be new, unwrapped and unopened toys.
