Suspect Jailed After Kidnapping Report

A man could be facing multiple felony charges after a kidnapping and chase with Police that occurred Friday.

According to police in Battle Creek, they were called to a home on Fairview Avenue at around 2 Friday afternoon.

A woman claimed to have been kidnapped by a man who threatened her with a gun before returning her to her home.

Officers chased the suspect on Dickman Road where the man crashed into another vehicle at Carl.

The suspect’s car was then disabled and he was taken into custody.
