Three Arrested In Robbery Spree

Three men were arrested Wednesday evening, after Emmett Township Public safety responded to a report of a purse snatching and robbery at the Meijer Store on B-Drive South.

Upon arrival, officers spotted the suspect vehicle leaving Meijer and were able to stop it on 6 1/2 Mile Road at B-Drive South.

Battle Creek Police arrived and assisted in taking the suspects into custody.

The men matched the description of suspects involved in two other robberies which took place earlier at the Lakeview Square Mall and Pine Knoll Apartments.

Evidence of the robberies was found in the suspect vehicle.

A victim from one of the robberies sustained an injury and was admitted to a local hospital in stable condition.

The three men were lodged in the Calhoun County Jail.
