Traffic Stop Leads to Suspected Meth

A Detroit man is behind bars in Battle Creek following a traffic stop yesterday.  Sheriff’s Deputies stopped the man on I-94 in Sheridan Township shortly after 3 in the afternoon Sunday.  The suspect was arrested after it turned out he was driving on a suspended license and a subsequent search turned up several small packages of suspected methamphetamine on his person.  The man was taken to the Calhoun County Jail pending arraignment.
