Two Arrested in Home Invasion Case

Two people were arrested yesterday after some Bedford residents returned home to find burglars inside and fought with them.  It happened on Duane Avenue just after 3 in the afternoon.  Police say one of the home invaders attacked the residents and then ran off while the other fled in a van.  Sherriff’s Deputies caught a suspect south of West Michigan shortly after and the suspected accomplice was found in a van parked nearby.  Investigators think the pair may be responsible for a recent string of break-ins in the area.
