Woman Injured In Domestic Shooting In Kalamazoo

A Kalamazoo woman is recovering in the hospital, following a domestic shooting last night.

Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Officers responded to an apartment complex on Duke Lane around 11:30pm Sunday, on reports of a shooting.  On the scene, a 20-year-old woman was suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and arm, having escaped to a neighbor's apartment.

She told authorities that her 22-year-old boyfriend had attacked her and shot her. Police brought in a K-9 unit to track the suspect, but were unable to find him.
