Car Full of Teenagers Leads Police on Chase

A car full of teenagers led police in Kalamazoo Township on a chase Wednesday morning.

Police attempted to pull over their vehicle in the 500 block of Wallace Avenue around 3am Wednesday when it fled, leading police on a short chase through a neighborhood, before the driver and three passengers fled on foot.

A K-9 was brought in and tracked all four, taking them into custody.  After searching the vehicle, a shotgun, meth and marijuana were found.

Two juveniles were released to their parents, while the 16-year-old driver and 18-year-old passenger were taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
