After Tuesday's snowy, slushy freezing rain, the National Weather Service forecast for Battle Creek promises a drop in temperatures, if only for a brief few days.

Daytime highs in the teens and low 20's are expected through Friday, before an upswing is forecast, putting daytime highs in the upper 30's for the weekend. Other forecasters suggest we will spend next week in the 40's and push into the 50's late next week.
