A deer in Kalamazoo was in the wrong place at the wrong time, as many of them are in Michigan, trying to cross a busy road. The animal ended up being struck twice by separate vehicles within seconds. T

Two people were hospitalized in the crash which involved a motorcycle and a sedan. WWMT reports that two people were riding on a motorcycle westbound in the 9700 block of Stadium Drive Wednesday night and came across a deer at around 8:30 pm. They reportedly collided with the deer and then the animal was flung into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane. The deer was then struck again by a sedan.

Off-duty emergency personnel happened to be in the area were able to helped the driver and passenger of the motorcycle until an ambulance arrived. They were then taken to the hospital. There is no word on the extent of their injuries or current condition. The driver of the Sedan was not injured in the crash.
