Government Spent $300,000 To Study How Bikes Work

I do not know any other way to say this but just straight forward. I am not joking about this. Those of us who actually pay Federal Income taxes are not going to like this.

The Obama Administration through the National Science Foundation (NSF) spent $300,000 of your taxpayer dollars studying how humans ride bikes.

Yes, you heard that right: $300,000 on humans riding bikes.

The NSF study seeks to “improve the fundamental understanding of how humans interact with bicycles.”

This ridiculous spending of our money on this study, is titled “Human Control of Bicycle Dynamics with Experimental Validation and Implications for Bike Handling and Design." Our money was given to Mont Hubbard of UC-Davis and Ronald Hess, who are the two investigators on the project.

This brilliant study also has incredible results that none of us would have known without spending this $300,000. The study discovered the following:

“The bicycle and human rider is distinct from aircraft and automobiles because most of the mass is in the rider, not the vehicle.”

Now, I bet you're extremely happy that we spent $300,000 that we had to borrow from China to find out that information.

It is time to stop this. Throw the bums out.
